Aniplex of America announced at their industry panel at Anime Milwaukee (Milwaukee,WI), their plans to premiere -KIZUMONOGATARI- PART 3: REIKETSU in the U.S. on April 7. This is the highly anticipated third and final installment of the-KIZUMONOGATARI- film series. Aniplex of America also confirmed that theater patrons will receive an exclusive giveaway item with each purchased ticket while supplies last. Ticket sales for-KIZUMONOGATARI- PART 3: REIKETSU will begin next Tuesday (February 21) through the official -KIZUMONOGATARI- website (www.Kizumonogatari-USA.com). -KIZUMONOGATARI PART 3: REIKETSU will be distributed by AZOLAND PICTURES in the original Japanese language with English subtitles.
-KIZUMONOGATARI- PART 3: REIKETSU features the origin story of the highly popular Monogatari Series originally created by author NISIOISIN and is a direct prequel to the BAKEMONOGATARI television series. The story follows the protagonist Koyomi Araragi and his encounter with the horrifying vampire, Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade A.K.A. the “King of Apparitions.” Koyomi saves the fatally wounded Kiss-shot by offering his blood to her in exchange for his own life as a human. This highly anticipated film will be bringing together an all-star creative staff including Director Tatsuya Oishi (Series Director of BAKEMONOGATARI), Character Designer Akio Watanabe, who worked on the entire Monogatari series, and Chief Director Akiyuki Shimbou (Madoka Magica, Monogatari Series, NISEKOI). Studio SHAFT will be responsible for the anime production.

With help from Meme Oshino, the apparition specialist, Koyomi defeats the three powerful vampire hunters: Dramaturgy, Episode and Guillotinecutter.
Koyomi takes back all the limbs of Kiss-Shot-Acerola-Orion-Heart-Underblade in order to become a human again.
But, when he returns to Kiss-Shot, she reveals to him the cold truth of what it means to be a vampire—a creature of the night. Unable to take back what he has done, Koyomi feels nothing but regret and can only deny his dreadful fate. While Koyomi is struggling to face reality, his “friend” Tsubasa Hanekawa comes to him with a certain plan…
