While walking the showroom floor at the Travel Goods Show in Las Vegas, NV, I stumbled across carry-on luggage that you can ride, called JitLife (model JS08i). I took the scooter luggage for a spin and was it fun. I can see this carry-on being a practical way to get to an airport terminal or gate. Keep reading to lear more about JitLife.

Jane Tu is the CEO and Mekia Yang is the company’s overseas sales VP. I learned that the JitLife 8i motorized carry-on luggage costs $899 and can be purchased from their official site, Amazon, eBay and at tradeshows like CES.

The maximize weight capacity for this smart suitcase is 115 kilograms or 253 lbs and the max speed is 13 kilometers per hour or 8.08 mph.

Pro Tip: Be careful not to make any sharp turns as I almost fell off as I was going pretty fast during my first ride around the track.

The product also has an app and you can control it from the app and control it like it’s a remote control. Full charge time for the motorized scooter’s battery pack is 2 hours and the distance is 8 miles off one charge.

One response to “Product Spotlight: JitLife Motorized Rideable Carry-On Luggage”

  1. Would be nice but most airlines have banned the use of rideable luggage because it increases the amount of large LI-Ion batteries in their planes.
