For Fiona and Keira Sly, Tony Sly Day isn’t just another event on the calendar. It’s a chance for family, friends, longtime fans, and the punk rock community to come together and celebrate the life and music of the late No Use for a Name frontman. We caught up with Tony’s daughters to learn more about what to expect on Tony Sly Day, July 31 at the Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas, NV.
Hosted at the Punk Rock Museum on July 31, Tony Sly Day promises to be equal parts celebration, remembrance, and reunion.
“Honestly, it’s just a big celebration,” Fiona said. “It’s just a big party.”
The event will reunite Tony’s longtime friends, former bandmates, and musicians who helped shape his legacy. Fans can expect live performances from Ed Gregor, Brian Wahlstrom, and Jon Snodgrass, along with stories, memories, and a shared appreciation for one of punk rock’s most beloved songwriters.

Beyond the performances, visitors will experience something even more personal.
“It’s like a listening party,” Fiona explained. “There are unheard demos and unreleased demos that are going to be played. It’s emotional, it’s fun, and it’s really special to us.”
Those rare recordings offer fans a unique opportunity to hear Tony’s music in a way few ever have before.
The celebration also takes place inside one of punk rock’s most immersive destinations. As guests explore the museum, they’ll discover exhibits honoring legendary artists while learning the stories behind the bands that shaped generations of music.
“You don’t really get sick of the tour,” Keira said. “You’re learning about every punk rock person and everyone in the industry. It’s really interesting.”
For the Sly sisters, it’s about keeping Tony’s spirit alive through the people and community that continue to celebrate his music.
Alongside No Use for a Name memorabilia, personal stories, and rare recordings, fans may even have the chance to commemorate the day with a tattoo from the museum’s tattoo shop on the 2nd floor of the Punk Rock Museum.
