For a sports-bar, Brick + Mortar is almost a gastro-sports-bar, if there is such a thing. With fantastic truffle fries, a variety of solid pizzas, cocktails with fresh ingredients and desserts, you couldn’t do better to watch the obligatory “Big Game” with a mixed crowd of men and women, fans and non-fans alike.
The rustic-industrial decor and a fair amount of patio seating makes it the perfect post-work dinner and drinks, especially for 25-35 year-olds and I imagine it will be equally fun for brunch. If you’re a group of single females, this would be the best place to “suffer” through a game since they have a range of non-gut-busting menu items and lots of wine, beer and a full bar.
Know Before You Go
In addition to the “Big Games” you can watch on the multitude of TVs, you can also count on them to have a party for all the expected events: Mardi Gras, New Years Eve, etc. I’ve heard it gets sceney and the douche quotient gets pretty high Thurs-Sat nights, but it’s a trendy sports bar – what do you expect?
