The Graffiti Beach Summer Sanctuary Pop-Up proved to be a success Saturday hosting 11 vendors, three artists and live music at the Angeleno Hotel in Brentwood. Fashion forward attendees partied poolside enjoying the summer sun while sipping on Pina Coladas. The event also doubled as Graffiti Beach founder Melanie Michaud’s 30th birthday bash. Later in the day, beach bodies modeled bikinis and leggings on the runway.

There were a ton of noteworthy pop-up shops in attendance including:

Mr. Kate

Mr. Kate, a jewelry line, combined aspects of femininity and machismo elements into their accessories marrying two iconic images: the beauty mark and mustache into their logo.

Nuts and bolts were on display and blended nicely with feminine jewelry pieces including rings and necklaces.  With a background in metalsmith and contemporary art jewelry, Kate’s line  has been worn by celebrities on the red carpet.

We ran into Gabrielle Yacoob again and this time, she showed us her new designs. If you’ve never heard of G.A.Y. Sandals, you should know that the soles of the sandals are taken from used tires. What better way to be fashionable than by wearing eco-friendly styles?

Did we mention that we were ecstatic to see our photo in Gabrielle’s look book?
