The Vegas Rocks! Magazine Music Awards return for their eighth edition on September 20, 2026, at The Orleans Showroom in Las Vegas, drawing in rock legends and rising artists, with Van Halen’s Sammy Hagar set to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Produced and hosted by Vegas Rocks! Magazine publisher Sally Steele, this year’s ceremony will honor a stacked lineup that includes guitar virtuoso Steve Vai, bassist Billy Sheehan, former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, D.J. Ashba of Guns N’ Roses and Chris Kael of Five Finger Death Punch.
Also slated to attend are Mitch Malloy, Eddie Trunk, Franky Perez, Gilby Clarke, Armored Saint, Heroine Honey and Pure Sport.
Special guests announced for the event include Bruce Kulick of KISS, Lizzy Borden, George Pajon of Black Eyed Peas, former The Cult drummer Les Warner, Frank DiMino of Angel and Stacey Blades of Rockett Mafia and L.A. Guns, with additional artists and honorees still to be announced.
Sammy Hagar to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award
One of the night’s biggest honors will go to Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar, whose five-decade career spans Montrose, a multi-platinum solo run and more than a decade fronting Van Halen. Hagar is set to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award, though his appearance at the ceremony has not yet been confirmed.
The award adds his name to a pretty wild history of rock royalty associated with the Vegas Rocks! Music Awards. Previous ceremonies have honored or featured artists including Lemmy Kilmister, David Coverdale, Lita Ford, Zakk Wylde, Dee Snider, Billy Gibbons, Vince Neil, Steven Adler, Michael Schenker, Geoff Tate, John 5, Vinnie Paul and members of Scorpions, Toto, Cheap Trick and Blue Öyster Cult.
The ceremony is also celebrating emerging artists.
“We are thrilled to welcome and honor great artists who have made such brilliant contributions to music over the decades as well as celebrating rising talent in Las Vegas,” Steele said in announcing the event.
Rock Royalty Hits the Red Carpet
Before the awards begin, the Vegas Rocks! Magazine Music Awards will host its Grand Rock n’ Roll Royal Red Carpet beginning at 6 p.m., with musicians, honorees and other guests expected to make appearances.
The red carpet will take place upstairs from The Orleans Showroom and will be open to ticket holders and the public.
Doors for the awards ceremony open at 6 p.m., with the show beginning at 8 p.m.
The night will include live performances and culminate in an All-Star Celebrity Jam, bringing artists together onstage to close out the ceremony.
