Matt Bachmann and Ben Gordon brewed up the idea of Wandering Bear last year while both were Columbia Business Students. Working 60 hours and often seven days a week, they established themselves as one of the city’s most innovative cold brew coffee brewers. Their coffee is made fresh: roasted in Brooklyn and delivered to their kitchen in Queens, where they brew two days a week. The boxes come with a “FlexTap” airlock that keeps air from getting in an downgrading the flavour. Wandering Bear Coffee has promoted its carefully looking for partnerships that add value and is now the official coffee vendor of the Governors Ball Music Festival.
