Diddy’s Grammy after-party at the Playboy Mansion was a star-studded affair on Sunday as Chris Brown, Too Short, Busta Rhymes, Paris Hilton, Jenny McCarthy, Wilmer Valderrama and Sebastian Bach, among others were in attendance. Party-goers who paid anywhere between $1,500 and $50,000 were able to enjoy a live fashion show, live music, DJ, open bar, buffet and rub elbows with Playboy Playmates. Hugh Hefner was even awarded, “Humanitarian of the Year” for his commitment to helping charities and those in need.

The party created a buzz before it even began with VIP “Fame at the Mansion” Monster Cabana tickets selling for $50,000, as reported by TMZ. A portion of the proceeds from the event went towards the Angelwish Foundation.

Before the fashion show, a silent auction was held benefiting the Angelwish Foundation. Items included autographed jerseys, paintings, Lakers memorabilia, autographed Playboy magazine covers, signed boxing gloves, autographed Beatles plaques, a signed San Francisco 49ers football helmet and autographed basketballs.
Angelwish.org was created in 1999 with the mission to provide the public with an easy way to grant wishes to the millions of children living with HIV/AIDS worldwide. Angelwish helps donors add a ray of hope to their lives. In 2010, after 10 years of focusing on HIV/AIDS, Angelwish expanded its mission to include children living with chronic illnesses such as asthma, diabetes and kidney disease.

After the silent auction, two designers showcased their 2012 collections. The first line consisted of Kurasu and ZARZAR models wearing flowing evening dresses and easy to wear contemporary designs by Von Vonni paired with ZiGiny shoes. While the models took to the catwalk, DJ Sarah Robertson set the tone for the fashion show by playing bass bumping beats, which got the crowd dancing.

The next line to hit the runway was Dina Bar-El’s sexy, sophisticated and elegant evening dresses, featuring bold colors and patterns. Bar-El’s gowns have been seen on professional tennis player Anna Kournikova, actress Ashley Benson of Pretty Little Liars, Victoria Beckham, actress Leelee Sobieski, Kelly Osbourne and the list continues.

Once the fashion show wrapped up, party-goers focused their attention on the female acrobats that hung from inside the tent. If you’ve been to SupperClub in Hollywood or Fluxx Nightclub in San Diego, this most likely looked familiar.

A few times throughout the night, Whitney Houston songs blasted from the speakers and based on the reactions of the attendees, it was all about celebrating her life as they danced and sang along to, “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” among other Houston songs.

Mario Djaward Estrada (DJ AWARD) and DJ EQUE also provided the soundtrack for the evening.

Outside, attendees dined at the buffet, which served sushi and grilled panini sandwiches. Several bars were located inside the tent as well as next to the grotto making it convenient for thirsty party-goers to sip on wine, cocktails and even Ciroc, the sponsored beverage of the evening.
Even the bartenders were having fun
Overall, it was apparent that everybody at the Playboy Mansion was having a great time at Diddy’s Grammy after-party. After all, what better way to party than at the mansion while benefiting a great cause: the Angelwish Foundation. See how you can help, by visiting: Angelwish.org
