Ube Fest took over the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts the weekend of October 11–12, 2025, and honestly? It was giving Pinoy Coachella energy — minus the dust, plus the dessert.

Timed perfectly during Filipino American History Month, this two-day celebration pulled in 80k attendees ready to honor culture, community, and carbs. Whether you came for the halo-halo or the hashtags, there was something for every vibe.

🍠 The Vibe

From the moment you stepped in, the air smelled like fried perfection and nostalgia. Record Box kept the energy high, spinning everything from 90s throwbacks to bops that had titas swaying and Gen Zs filming TikToks mid-lumpia bite.

The crowd? A perfect mix of families, foodies, and creatives decked out in their best fits.

🍽️ The Food

If you didn’t leave with a purple tongue and a mild food coma, did you even go?

Vendors brought their A-game — from crispy lechon and freshly rolled lumpia to ube pancakes, ube cheesecake bites, milk tea hybrids, and halo-halo so photogenic it deserved its own PR team.

And let’s not forget the creative twists: think ube horchata, ube soft serve in brioche buns, and ube butter croissants that looked like they came straight off your “For You” page.

🛍️ The Merch & Makers

Beyond the bites, there was a mini marketplace of Filipino-owned brands repping community pride. Attendees grabbed Disarray-approved merch including, tote bags, hoodies, pouches, tees, perfect for repping Pinoy culture in your everyday drip.

From modern streetwear to handcrafted jewelry and skincare, the vendors gave small business energy with big aesthetic payoff.

🚗 The Logistics

Parking: Surprisingly smooth for a packed event — and if you know Cerritos, that’s saying a lot.
Entry: Free (our favorite F-word).
Crowd flow: Easy breezy. Plenty of space to eat, mingle, and snap photos under those iconic purple backdrops.

📸 The Overall Takeaway

Good food. Great vibes. Proud people. Ube Fest 2025 was a full-blown cultural love letter written in shades of violet and gold. Whether you came solo or with the whole barkada, this was the kind of weekend that leaves you full… heart, stomach, and camera roll included.
