This morning, I kicked off my day at Snooze in Tustin, CA and it did not disappoint. After a short 15-minute wait, I was seated and ordered Juan’s Breakfast Tacos—scrambled eggs cooked to perfection, smothered in a zesty salsa verde hollandaise, and topped with crispy bacon. The flavors were bold, and the portions were so generous I had leftovers to take home.

Pet-Friendly

I loved how there were multiple friendly, well-behaved dogs on the patio. Waitresses provided water bowls for all the dogs.

Ambiance

The family-friendly restaurant was bustling and it was loud enough to have a conversation over a meal without having to yell.

Drinks

My Diet Coke refills flowed freely, and my server Ricardo, was attentive without being overbearing. There were a number of drinks on the menu, including coffee, tea, juices, bubbly drinks, bloody mary’s, mocktails and soda.

Pricing

For $23 (plus a 20% tip), it was a satisfying, hearty meal that left me already planning my next visit. If you’re in the area, don’t sleep on Snooze. Be prepared to wait, though! It’s worth it.

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.5/5) – Delicious, filling, and efficient!

Know Before You Go

-Your name will be added to a Yelp waitlist where you can monitor your position in the queue. You’ll then get a text letting you know your table is ready.

-If you want to get your steps in, this restaurant is just a short 10-15 minute walk from the Tustin Auto Center. I was getting routine car maintenance done and this restaurant was recommended by Damian over at Tustin Mazda.
