Salt Lake City’s chaotically aggressive band Cult Leader are on the road now, headed to meet up with Deftones for a handful of shows in Texas starting Saturday and running through March 24th. In April, Cult Leader will appear at Modified Ghost Festival in Vancouver with Power Trip and others before they head to Europe for a three-week-long tour with Rotten Sound and Abigail Williams. Cult Leader’s rigorous touring schedule continues into July when they canvas the USA on a more extensive summer tour with Dragged Into Sunlight and Primitive Man in tow.
Cult Leader are touring in support of their newest LP Lightless Walk, which was released in October of 2015 and topped countless ‘Best Of’ lists for the year, including Decibel Magazine, Exclaim!, Nerdist, Metal Injection, New Noise, and others. Lightless Walk was recorded and engineered by Kurt Ballou at God City Studios (Converge, High On Fire, etc) and shows Cult Leader at their darkest and most and powerful yet.
