//platform.instagram.com/en_US/embeds.js If you are going to have quality cold brew coffee shipped to your door, why not go bulk? Wandering Bear Cold Brew Coffee packaging is a no frills cardboard box, which provides 12 cups of delicious cold brew (96 oz). The slim box fits snuggly into a fridge at home or the office. Unlike other cold brew coffees that use bottles or single serving packages, Wandering Bear uses boxes contain large air tight bags so sturdy that they can apparently survive a beating from a baseball bat.
Wandering Bear has a neat logo, which looks like a retro homage to the Chicago Cubs, but this coffee is pure New York. While NYC tap-water is often credited for improving the taste of the city’s pizza offerings (my favourite Artichoke Basille’s Pizza is also available in Berekley), Wandering Bear’s cold brew coffee also uses filtered New York City water, which might explain its unique taste. Their 100% Arabica blend is imported from the far south of Colombia and has a bold flavor with wine notes.
Wandering Bear’s origins.
Matt Bachmann and Ben Gordon brewed up the idea of Wandering Bear last year while both were Columbia Business Students. Working 60 hours and often seven days a week, they established themselves as one of the city’s most innovative cold brew coffee brewers. Their coffee is made fresh: roasted in Brooklyn and delivered to their kitchen in Queens, where they brew two days a week. The boxes come with a “FlexTap” airlock that keeps air from getting in an downgrading the flavour. Wandering Bear Coffee has promoted its carefully looking for partnerships that add value and is now the official coffee vendor of the Governors Ball Music Festival.
Their coffee is available at a number of retailers in the Big Apple and is shipped in specialty packaged boxes coast to coast. If stored in your fridge, a Wandering Bear Cold Brew Coffee will maintain its freshness for a month or long enough for you to binge watch all seven seasons of your favorite TV show.
