On the ever-popular 3rd Street near the Beverly Center, Goldies is the trifecta of style, substance and service. A low-key, small restaurant with quality food and atmosphere, the beautiful understated-industrial dining room opens to a great patio – the perfect place for happy hour and brunch as the weather starts to warm up.
The farm-fresh seasonal ingredients start with the cocktails, thru the menu to the desserts, (Harry’s Berry’s Strawberries with cream, when I went). The menu changes with the season but my favorite was the brussel sprouts. Yes, they are everywhere but THIS is my favorite – a little heat, lots of charred crispy edges – delicious! And right now, they are offering a Bucket of Mary’s Fried Cornish Game Hens for $25 on Sunday nights! Staff is super but Jon stood out.
