Los Angeles producer and DJ Destructo has been busy in the studio putting the finishing touches on his West Coast EP due out later this spring, as well as working on some fresh new remixes.  Leading the charge is a free download of Destructo’s newest production; for this remix of of YG’s buzzworthy track “My N***a,” he teamed with Wax Motif.

The YG remix follows Destructo’s other recent productions including his remix of Henry Fong’s “Stand Up” on OWSLA Records. The gritty, darkly-tinged deep house remix reached #2 on Beatport charts and can be heard below:

Destructo, who is a featured artist on the HARD Hollywood Bowl bill on May 10 in Los Angeles with Chic featuring Nile Rogers and Giorgio Moroder, re-edited his remix of Moroder’s classic “Chase” for the occasion.  Listen below:

Following his successful “UK 2 LA Tour” with Britain’s Alex Metric this past January which included sold-out shows in Boston, Providence, Orlando, Austin, Denver, Phoenix, Seattle and Los Angeles, Destructo will hit the road again for a select run of tour dates this spring.  Confirmed dates include shows at SXSW and HARD Miami during Miami Music Week, festival appearances at EDC Mexico, Electric Forrest and HARD SUMMER, as well as dates in many major markets in Australia.
