Downtown Las Vegas Transforms into Massive Block Party as DJ Vice Headlines GlowRun’s AfterGlow Party, Oct. 13

Downtown Las Vegas will be transformed into a monumental block party for AfterGlow, the finish-festival of the second annual 5K GlowRun. Dance music veteran and Los Angeles native, DJ Vice, will headline the festivities spanning the Fremont East Entertainment District.

The main stage will be located in the heart of Fremont East at Las Vegas Blvd and Fremont Street. Revelers can embrace the Downtown culture by exploring popular neighborhood bars, hangouts and restaurants, or just dance on the famous block to the pulsing tunes of the outdoor stage.

DJ Echo will kick off AfterGlow as runners dash through the finish line. Additionally, up-and-coming DJ talent will be featured throughout neighborhood hot spots like Commonwealth and Park on Fremont.

DJ Vice will begin his set at 9 p.m. A staple in Las Vegas nightlife, the iconic artist has held multiple residencies at the Strip’s hottest nightclubs since he got his start in 2002 at Body English Nightclub inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. From dance music anthems to throwback hip-hop to today’s club hits, his taste in musical selection resonates with fans of every genre.

GlowRun features an illuminated, nighttime environment that blends fitness, entertainment, art and the culture of Downtown Las Vegas. Racers are encouraged to walk, run or dance through the 5K course in their most elaborate and colorful costumes before being welcomed to the AfterGlow party at the finish line. Registration for GlowRun is $45 and includes guaranteed entry for the after-party. Interested runners can register and find additional details at www.glowrun.com.
