Combine scantily clad models in sexy barely-there outfits and you have the Penthouse Lingerie Fashion Show fundraiser at Cafe La Boheme in Los Angeles. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Penthouse teamed up with Gloss VIP Thursday night to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Upon arrival, guests walked the red carpet and entered the venue, which was decorated in ghoulish Halloween decor consisting of cotton cob webs, carved pumpkins and dim lighting. Without the Halloween decor, the venue resembles a dark vampire’s tavern, which is always fitting for Halloween.
Inside, the venue was moderately packed around 10pm with mostly male attendees in dressy attire, who patiently waited for the show to begin. While waiting, guests mingled at two bars, enjoyed glasses of wine on the outdoor patio and VIP’s mingled on the second level sipping complimentary watermelon margaritas.
Downstairs, a black runway positioned in the middle of the venue was center stage for what was about to become the focal point of everyone’s evening. A few photographers snapped test shots of the dimly lit catwalk in hopes of adjusting their cameras to get quality coverage.
Finally, at around 10:45pm, a seductive voice was heard on the microphone asking attendees, “Which pet are you, a naughty pet, sexy pet, sweet pet or a wild pet?” Then, the models walked the catwalk, each taking on the personality of the type of lingerie they were wearing.
The first notable outfit to grace the catwalk was a cherry print babydoll with a thong from the Sexy Pet collection. The babydoll featured a mesh skirt with ruffle hem and the cherry print thong contained a front keyhole cutout.
Next on the runway was a bustier with garters outfit from the Naughty Pet collection. Featuring red tattoo heart prints and a denim center front panel, ribbons lined the side front seams. For added detail, a Penthouse key charm was placed on the center front bow.
From the Wild Pet collection, a two-piece leopard lingerie outfit  made its way down the catwalk featuring shiny black straps and matching leopard bottoms.
Overall, the event was entertaining filled with sexy outfits, a great cause and a night of partying and networking.
